So driving through Burwood last week I decided to pop in and check out CYCLEWORLD after hearing some positive things about their range and service - I wasn't disappointed and just wanted to share the positive experience.

Had a bit of a browse around the shop and mentioned to one of the guys my wife was considering upgrading her XC bike... I was shown to a 2012 Giant Anthem X1 W (women specific) that was on sale for an amazing price and I was immediately interested. I asked if they could put it on hold so my wife could head in later in the week to check it out to see what she thought - not a worry at all. Planned to go on Thursday night, however couldn't make it due to work and so I called the store, let them know and said we couldn't make it in until Sunday. Thought this may have been a problem seeing as how the bike was on hold and they would likely have interest in it over the weekend - alas - not a worry at all. Also enquired about the price of a Garmin 500 edge (bundle with cadence/HR) was told it was $399, however if we ended up buying the bike they could do it for $299 (CRC price $324).

Popped in this afternoon and bought the bike and the Garmin at a price that several other bike shops didn't even get close to.

More importantly the service was second to none - friendly, personal, professional and knowledgable. CYCLEWORLD offer 6 months free servicing from the date of purchase, an extended two year warranty on components, free fitting and will price match competitors.

In summary, I would definitely recommend CYCLEWORLD to anyone. This is a LBS (that's no so local given we're on the northshore) that I will definitely be supporting in the future.
