Yes, Chain talk again.
Sorry, but:
I think I have proven it to myself!
No more foreign, well foreign to me, chains on my MTB Bikes, EVER...
Rohloff it will be from now on... http://www.rohloff.de/en/products/s_l_t_99/index...
This was the first time I was relying on new, other than Rohloff, chain and I was let down badly!
2 rides in Germany (fire trails 30km ea.)
2 x TH Perimeter and Long
1 x Massive Northern Beaches ride (about 40km)
and then 6km of Fling and ...... you all know what happened.
That's it, no more chain talk from me, only one will do it for me!!!
Bernd

And what can I expect to pay? Nobody seems to stock them - "Oh, we'll have to ring up and get back to you." Sad

this is the Aus Rohloff contact:
Maria & Dieter Mohrholz
PO Box 75
Miriamvale
QLD 4677
rohloff-australia@dont-want-spam.rohloff.de
Telephone: +61 (0)7 49 745505
But I buy mine in Germany on my yearly visits to the Homeland.
Cost over there (SLT 99) is 30 - 36 Euro (as per todays E v $) $ 60 - $ 72,
would be a bit more here, but worth it!!!
Bernd
